Purpose
Vermont South Learning Centre offers programs and services in a friendly environment to meet the needs of the local community. These include adult education, lifestyle & recreational courses, children’s activities, social enterprise café & catering, and room hire.
Training is our core business. As a Learn Local organisation we are able to offer subsidised Adult Education in Information Technology, Literacy and Numeracy including English as a Second Language, and Vocational courses.
Lifestyle classes in Health & Fitness, Art, General Interest and Children’s Activities are also available.
The Centre is purpose built with spacious rooms and facilities for hire at affordable prices by community organisations or individuals for celebrations, meetings, groups and social support programs.
About the Centre
Our office hours are 9.00am-4.00pm Monday & Tuesday and 9.00am-2.00pm Wednesday to Friday.
Office staff comprise of:
Manager: Dr Sharon Smart (PhD) – Monday to Friday
Program Coordinator: Helen Crisp – Monday and Tuesday
Receptionist/Room Hire Coordinator/Administration Officer: Maria Patsavouras – Monday to Friday
Payroll/Bookkeeper: Sharyn Dimattina
Enrolments
Enrolments can be made by contacting the Learning Centre via phone (03) 9803 2335 or email info@vslc.org.au.
Enrolments are confirmed by payment of course fees via: EFTPOS, credit card, cheque, cash and direct debit using the following bank details (Name: Vermont South Community House BSB: 033 127 Account Number: 133 530. Please add your Surname and Course in the description). Then please email info@vslc.org.au to advise of payment via this method. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone.
Fees are to be paid IN FULL AT TIME OF ENROLMENT.
If classes are to be cancelled, a full refund will be made.
No refund will be given once a course commences.
