Computer Basics – An Introduction to Computers

A back to basics computer course for complete beginners or those with limited computer skills.

In a supportive environment, this course covers content which includes basic computer skills; basic word processing; and an introduction to the Internet and using email.

This is an ideal course for anyone requiring basic computer literacy and skills for computer use in the workplace.

Computers – Intermediate

This course is perfect for people who want to build on their computer skills.  Ideal for anyone who has successfully completed a basics or  beginners computer course and are now ready for their next challenge.

This course covers working with files and folders; computer security; Internet search techniques; MS Word features including working with templates, clip art; pictures, shapes, SmartArt, and tables.

Excel Intermediate for the Workplace

This course is an opportunity for those with a basic knowledge of MS Excel to build on their skills and learn more about this application.
You will learn to use pivot tables, convert text to columns, use functions, filtering, macros, and more.

If you have a desire to learn how to make your documents look more professional using Microsoft’s presentation, and desk top publishing applications, then this course is for you!

As an introduction to the basic features of these applications, this course gives learners an insight into how a practical knowledge of, and skills in, the use of presentations and publications can be applied in workplace environments, and for personal use.
