Committee of Management

The Committee of Management is made up of Members of the Association who are elected at the Annual General Meeting held in March each year. The Committee of Management has a governance role and is responsible mainly for setting the strategic direction and policies of the Community House.

Committee of Management members are also involved in sub-committees, which are linked to the four major goal areas of the Community House – Community Development, Service Delivery, Resourcing and Continuity.

The Committee of Management meets at the Community House on the 4th Tuesday of the month commencing at 7.30pm.

 
Membership of the Association

The Community House welcomes people to apply for membership of Vermont South Community House Inc. As a Member you would be entitled to:
•    attend meetings of the Association;
•    have input into the governance of the Association;
•    have voting rights and nominate for a position on the Committee;
•    receive a copy of the Annual Report;
•    receive invitations to House functions

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16, who is interested in the aims of the Community House.  For a small annual fee, members will receive a range of benefits including discounts on courses and venue hire (subject to conditions), the oppourtunity to attend social events with guest speakers and receive e-newsletters.
