The Committee of Management is made up of Members of the Association who are elected at the Annual General Meeting held in March each year. The Committee of Management has a governance role and is responsible mainly for setting the strategic direction and policies of the Community House.
Committee of Management members are also involved in sub-committees, which are linked to the four major goal areas of the Community House – Community Development, Service Delivery, Resourcing and Continuity.
The Committee of Management meets at the Community House on the 4th Tuesday of the month commencing at 7.30pm. |

The Community House welcomes people to apply for membership of Vermont South Community House Inc. As a Member you would be entitled to: • attend meetings of the Association; • have input into the governance of the Association; • have voting rights and nominate for a position on the Committee; • receive a copy of the Annual Report; • receive invitations to House functions
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16, who is interested in the aims of the Community House. For a small annual fee, members will receive a range of benefits including discounts on courses and venue hire (subject to conditions), the oppourtunity to attend social events with guest speakers and receive e-newsletters.
